Monday 8am — I almost killed my content account
Monday 8am, staring at 12 comments, 3 clips, 2 images in my dashboard — I almost quit posting. Running a content account solo, the worst part is everything piles on you.
How Riley Brown runs 1M+ followers solo
Riley's a top US AI content creator with 1.5M+ followers across TikTok and IG. At 3pm in his Austin studio, he opens Codex (the AI assistant inside ChatGPT) and has it do three things:
- Reverse-engineer viral video hooks, rewrite his scripts using the same structure
- Use Paper (an AI design tool) to mix his face into viral thumbnail layouts — 10 min per image
- Use Supadata to scrape competitor subtitles, feed them to Codex, get a "what's trending now" summary
He runs this weekly, batching a whole week's content in one session. I made the same mistake before — I thought AI had to learn how to use itself. Riley's logic: AI "copies virals," not "invents from scratch." Get this, and you save half your time.
What it costs to copy this today
- Money: Codex comes inside ChatGPT Plus, $20/mo (~140 RMB). Paper free tier works. Supadata has free quota. Total under 200 RMB/mo
- Time: One week to set up, 30 min/day of hands-on work
- Tech barrier: No code. Codex is a chat interface — Chinese works fine. Paper is drag-drop, like Canva
- First step: go to chatgpt.com → subscribe to Plus → find Codex in the left menu
I got stuck too — first time on Plus, I couldn't find the Codex entry. Thought it needed a separate download. Nope, it's right in ChatGPT's left sidebar. Click and go.
How to copy this at your stage
- Just starting (<1,000 followers): Use Codex first for scripts + 5 backup titles. Don't start with thumbnail automation. Ship content first
- 1–2 stable clients (1k–10k followers): Add Paper for thumbnails, batch images 1 hour/week. Pour saved time into topic research
- Scaling (10k+ followers / small team): Plug Codex into your content calendar, auto-generate 20 topic ideas weekly. Riley does this himself
Last note: not everyone needs this stack. Fine to skip for now. Nail the content first — AI is an amplifier, not an engine.
